This evening a record number of students. parents, alumni, staff and community volunteers attended our Community Council meeting. While a variety of topics were discussed, the large group was in part due to concern about EYA being added to the list of TDSB schools to be reviewed for closure. There was a lively and passionate discussion where a number of ideas came forward revolving around our need to tell our success stories about our school community. The first steps will be an EYA Community Round Table to be held on March 25th at 6pm and a petition to protect our school. Stay tuned for updates about the campaign!
